MINI DRESS
It is colder than an Eskimo’s outhouse out there… if you hadn’t noticed, and I am in Texas! I can’t imagine what the eastern part of the country is feeling! Yikes!!! I guess we lucked out with construction going on in our house in Nashville. We can’t stay there, so we came back to Dallas and are here for a while. We are totally missing that frigidness that is going on there!!! Are you all sick of wearing sweaters on repeat like I am? We are starting to get in the groove of condo living here. It’s really quite nice not to have much to take care of! The only negative is taking the dogs out. They were so used to a fenced yard, and now they have to do their “business” on a leash.
I am often asked about whether I think mini’s are acceptable after a certain age. I think it really depends on the individual, but…I think the older you are, tights can (and should) make a huge difference. There are some dresses or skirts that might look to young on their own, but paired with a tight, can look just right. Case in point, look at Julianne Moore, Carine Roitfeld, and Sarah Jessica Parker. I say “go for it”, but you better do it quick, since Spring is soon on its way!
The dress I am wearing is forever old! I think it maybe Tibi, but I’m not 100% sure, since it is in a box in Nashville. I kept it all of these years, because it is a simple A-line dress and it’s black! I would never wear it without the tights though, especially today, in this frigid weather! Try to keep warm lovely ones!!!

This is stunning! I agree and I wear opaque tights with shorter dresses (but your legs and knees are better than mine!)
We still have snow over here in Southern Germany and the forecast is not even near to spring weather… so tired of my boots and trousers…
I hope you can move into your house soon!
