MY FAVORITE BEAUTY FINDS FROM NORDSTROM

Hi, everyone! I hope you are having a great week so far! I am so excited because today I am going to show you my favorite beauty finds from Nordstrom! I haven’t shown you all in several years what my favorites are and I am embarrassed to say that. As a blogger/influencer, I get to try many products, but I have my tried and true that I go back to again and again. Today is the day I am going to share those with you.

Starting off my day with these products

Let’s start with what I do in the morning. For too many years than I can count, I have been using Cle’ de Peau Beaute’ Hydro-Softening Lotion. I use it to soften and protect against dryness. I then use Crème de la Mer Moisturizing Cream mixed with Supergoop Everyday Sunscreen. I always use Clarins Super Restorative Eye Concentrate or La Prairie Skin Caviar Eye Cream. This is all applied in my bathroom, and then I move to my colorful makeup room to play!

Favorite Beauty Finds For Eyes

I am a makeup junkie and love to play in it! I always start with my eyes because eyeshadow always falls on my cheeks, and it makes a mess. The first step is to use an eyeshadow base. I have started using this EmotionProof Eye Color as a base because my eyes water from allergies constantly. I have so many palettes, but I am loyal to Charlotte Tilbury and Tom Ford. I am using this one from Charlotte and one from Tom Ford on repeat. I also use Tom Ford eyeliners. My favorite eyelash curler for years has been this one from Kevin Aucoin. The pad is red instead of black, and you can see your lashes better, plus it really curls! My favorite mascara that I swear by is Chantecaille Faux Cils Mascara. Okay, warning, it is expensive, BUT, it has a peptide in it that seriously makes your lashes grow. I honestly have to trim mine! I justify it because I am not spending money on lash growth serums. I use one or two coats and then top off my lashes with MAC Extreme Dimension Lash. I have used so many mascaras over the years but always come back to these two. My favorite eyebrow pencil is this one from Tom Ford.

Foundation is key

I do not like heavy foundations and feel like I am suffocating whenever a makeup artist has applied one on me. I want the lightest foundation possible. The two that I alternate between are Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation and Cle’ de Peau Beaute’ The Foundation. I use a tiny bit and they both last a long time. My favorite concealer is Chantecaille Le Camouflage Stylo Corrector. It’s not heavy and doesn’t settle in my lines. I am a blush girl because I am so pale. I can’t tell you how many times I have bought Love Glow from Charlotte Tilbury! I love this color. I have to admit that I have most all of her blush colors, but Love Glow gets the most love! I also like to mix it with Nars Sex Appeal. I don’t really use bronzers because again, I am so pale that I think they make me look dirty. If I do use a highlighter, I have this one from Charlotte Tilbury. I always use Charlotte Tilbury loose Magic Powder to set my makeup.

Healing my lips with Kopari gloss

The lips have been an issue for me ever since I had chemo. At least I am blaming it on that because the timing was right. I had chronic chapped and peeling lips and most every lipstick I tried made it worse. I use a lip liner from MAC and can only use MAC (Cream Cup is my color) or Bobbi Brown (in Pink Nude) lipstick and Chanel lip gloss (Noce Moscata). About two years ago, I discovered this lip gloss from Kopari. It pretty much healed my lips! I use it every night and have tubes everywhere in the house.

Obsessed with this Deodorant!

I mentioned Kopari lip gloss above and I have to tell you that I am such a fan of the brand. The other product that I swear by and use every day is the aluminum-free Coconut Original Deodorant. Summer is probably not the best time to try this, but since the temperatures should start feeling cooler soon, it’s a great time to give this deodorant a shot. I had to wear it consistently for a few days before my body got used to it. I am obsessed. It smells great and comes off so easy in the shower and, it’s healthier than regular deodorant.

My Fall Scent

I love perfume but don’t like anything that smells floral or citrusy! I am one of those dark perfume lovers. I wear an oil most days but love to wear Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille perfume in the fall and winter. I do, however, want to try Chanel’s new Les Eaux de Chanel collection fragrances. Might be a great Christmas gift to give!

Nightime Regimen

At night, I take off my eye makeup with Lancome Bi-Facil Double-Action Remover and cleanse my face with Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm. I use either Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Oil or Creme’ de la Mer Moisturizing Cream or both together depending on how dry I am. I finish off with La Prairie Caviar Eye Cream!
