Happy Monday, everyone! How was your weekend? We have been in Columbus, Ohio all weekend visiting the grandkids and celebrating our granddaughters fifth birthday. This was our first time to visit since they moved here. Their house is not ready (re-doing) yet, so they are living with my daughter in laws parents. Thankfully they have a guest house, and we were able to stay there with everyone! A super easy outfit to pack with is this fab denim jumpsuit from Veronica Beard. I am in love with it!

Jumpsuits are so easy and have had such a comeback. It was super hot out when we shot these photos, but if it had been cooler, I would have added a turtleneck underneath. Any sleeveless or short sleeve jumpsuit can take you into winter with a turtleneck or long sleeve tee underneath. This fab denim jumpsuit I am wearing actually helps hold in your stomach! One perk of jumpsuits is that they can make you look taller and slimmer. Jumpsuits are like an outfit in and of themselves. Totally a throw on and go! A big piece of advice that I would give you when wearing a jumpsuit is to remember that it takes more effort to make a “pitstop.” Other than that, they are super easy!

My accessories are all older pieces that I have had for a long time, but I am linking similar items below.

This weekend was jam-packed and, I am wiped out. We went to a tea party to celebrate Evie with her friends on Friday afternoon then to dinner with the family. Saturday we took a tour of the house my kids are re-doing then watched football all day and until the evening. Yesterday, the birthday girl woke up sick with a fever, so the day was a little sad for her. We went to our grandson’s baseball game, where he was awarded the player of the game! Our daughter flew in, and we all celebrated Evie (sick and all). We are headed back in a bit, and I am so sad to leave this crew. I’m glad I have a busy week to keep my mind off of it!

I hope you all have a great day! xx
