Happy Friday! What do you all have planned for the weekend? I am so excited because Heather and I are going to The Joule Hotel Spa today for a massage. I haven’t had one in months, and it is a guilty pleasure of mine. I have been trying to organize my house this past week, and I am planning on taking the weekend and concentrating on the drawers. Instead of participating in “Dry January,” I am engaging in “Ditch January.” Today, though, it’s that time again with Chic at Every Age showing a shirt dress styled four different ways.

A Shirtdress You Will Reach For Again and Again

Heather and I were out shopping last week and saw this shirt dress at Banana Republic. This is one of those dresses that everyone should have in their closet. It can be worn in lots of different ways. First of all, I love the longer length of this shirt dress and that it has a slip underneath. Second, it’s under $120 and selling quickly. Third, it’s a timeless dress that you will reach for again and again.

So Many Ways To Wear This Dress

This shirt dress comes with a self-tie, but I added my own belt (that I’ve worn a lot lately), giving it a little bit different look. I love the way that Sam and Heather wore theirs open over pants and would look so cute over shorts. This dress is the perfect dress to take on a  beach vacation. It can be worn as a cover-up and then out to dinner. I would throw a denim or any short jacket over it and put a colorful tank underneath it for another look. The dress is true to size. I am wearing a 0.

The Shoe Styles That Work With A Shirt Dress

What shoe works best with a shirt dress? Most any style will work. I chose to wear mine with combat boots (a trend that I personally like), but sandals, booties, sneakers, or a wedge will work perfectly.
