CHIC AT EVERY AGE-FEATURING BLACK JUMPSUIT
Happy Friday, Everyone!
Today, Chic at Every Age is featuring this black jumpsuit! For you new readers, this is a fab collab that we do every other week. We are each in a different decade/time of life and show you how we style a piece in our own way. This jumpsuit is the perfect piece to end your summer in, and if you live in the South, continue wearing throughout September (as Sam did above). The jumpsuit has wide legs with slits up the side and a low-cut neckline (secret snap in front if you choose not to show too much). Also, it has a crisscross tie back, and I love the embroidered trim at the neck! For reference, Heather and I are wearing an XS, and the other two are in a S.
So, here’s how we did it.
Natalie // The Fashion Hour put on a wide brim hat and added a straw bag for a beachy boho vibe.
Samantha // Style of Sam threw a sophisticated white jacket over her shoulders to dress it up a bit.
Heather // So Heather added a choker for a more ”rock and roll” vibe.
Me // I wanted to make mine a little more beachy casual with flat sandals.
Honestly, there aren’t that many ways to style a jumpsuit differently, besides throwing a jacket or sweater over it. It’s all about the shoes and accessories you choose. Jumpsuits are a great way to “throw and go.” I love anything that makes getting dressed and out the door easier. You don’t have to think about much except your shoes. I am showing five of my favorite jumpsuits below at all price points. And of course, they all can take you into Fall!
What are you all up to this weekend? We started the weekend last night at a friend’s dinner party for our son and his fiance. Tonight, we are having friends over to the house for dinner. Honestly, I hope tomorrow is low key because next week I have something almost every night! I hope you all have a great weekend! xx
