JC PENNEY X CHIC AT EVERY AGE
Natalie // Sam // Heather // Me
Good Morning, everyone, how are you? I am so excited to be partnering up with JCPenney and my Chic at Every Age Girls for The Local Look collaboration this month to show you all the cutest fall pieces and to tell you about a fun event coming up! The girls and I had such a fun day a few weeks ago meeting at JCPenney and picking out our favorite pieces as a group and individually. There was a lot to look at, and let’s just say the dressing room was something to be seen. After lots of trying on and modeling for each other, we left the store with great pieces and a lot of laughs!
We all picked the camel blazer above to style the way that our age group would, as we always do for Chic at Every Age. This is a fabulous blazer that can be worn every day. I think Samantha won for most creative in the way she styled hers with the belt bag. She actually bought a size larger to get this look (every piece you see in this post is from JCPenney, btw)l. I am wearing a pair of black jeans (that fit me perfectly, and that’s saying something!), this beautiful top, and these fantastic black booties. I got the black tote to finish off my look.
The next look we chose to coordinate with is this fabulous cardigan that comes in solids and stripes. I wore the same denim and boots but picked this fun animal print sleeveless blouse to wear with my grey sweater.
Now for my individual outfit picks. How perfect is this cardigan for fall? I feel like I should be in the mountains in this outfit instead of Dallas! This cardigan is the perfect piece to wear all fall. I think it also looks like the best piece to wear to a football game or hayride! I paired it with a dark pair of denim, this chambray shirt, and these comfortable suede booties with fringe. I found this fun saddle color bag to complete the outfit (unfortunately sold out).
This next look is the perfect look for a girl’s night out or date night for me. I love this blouse paired with these light denim cropped jeans. These jeans are the perfect length to show off these gorgeous cranberry color suede sandals. I am also wearing a fun “diamondesque” ring (similar)!
The look above is a great look for a meeting or dinner out. I love this plaid blazer! Plaid is such a huge trend for fall and a great piece to add to your closet. Mixed with black (like I did) or blue denim, black or winter white pants, or skirts, this is a piece you will wear a lot.
The last look(because I don’t have enough leopard print already!) is this cute animal print sweater. I like this because it is not heavy and could be worn under many types of jackets and not feel cumbersome and because it is leopard!
Now, I want to tell you about the fun event I mentioned earlier. If you live in the Dallas area, the Chic at Every Age girls are hosting a meet up at JCPenney for THE LOCAL LOOK to showcase our favorite picks this month. Come on October 13th from 12-2 at Stonebriar Mall. We will have three giveaways going on, 3 x $100 Gift Cards, Grand raffle 1 x $250 Gift Card. Come out and shop with us, we would love to meet you!
I hope you all have a great day!

I went to JC Penney again after seeing several bloggers promoting them & it was very disappointing! The quality is terrible & none of the outfits were in the store that were pictured. I’m sorry, but I don’t think they should be featured like this. I don’t consider them a place for fashion. Just my opinion.

Hi, Becky! I appreciate your comment. I am doing this partnership along with the other girls. We like to show different price points and JC Penney is affordable for a lot of people. I like to mix it up and show high and low. Fashion is everywhere and for some, JC Penney may be their spot. Not everyone has the same tastes and that’s what makes the world go round, Thanks so much and I hope you have a great weekend.

I went to 2 Penny’s stores and found nothing in XL that I was interested in. I just see the same old same old stuff. It’s really frustrating when the size you wear is always out. Is there that many small sized people that you stock so much s m l. I don’t think so. I don’t like ordering online because you can’t see it in person. Most stuff I order online goes back.

What cute clothes! I love to see the way you style the outfits because it gives me ideas for clothes and accessories that I already have in my closet. I appreciate the reasonable price points that you show, because if your size changes or you don’t like the style for the next season, there are no regrets! Nothing bothers me more than spending on an investment piece of clothing and then not wearing it.

I love all of the outfits. They are very stylish. Each of them could be dressed up or made more casual very easily. I particularly love the cranberry blouse!
