BELL SLEEVE DENIM JACKET
Hi, everyone! I am completely stressed this morning( FYI)! I don’t have this place together for the move, and I have to leave in the morning. I know…I sound like the worst wife EVER! My poor husband has to oversee both moves, one from the storage unit and the other from the condo. He will have the help of our decorator though. I am leaving for New York for a job I am doing. It just happened to coincide with the move…oops! So you can see why I am a little on edge! But, let’s talk about fashion. Today I wanted to show you the cutest denim jacket. You probably have a few denim jackets in your wardrobe. I think I have one that is over ten years old! I absolutely fell in love with this one when I saw it’s bell sleeves.
I love the wide bell sleeve, and the lighter color of this jacket, plus the longer length is different from my other denim jackets. The sleeve really does make it look fun and fresh! I bought this vintage floral print and ruffle shirt because I love the olive color, but the little blue flowers looked so cute with the jacket. I can just picture a black and white stripe long sleeve tee or turtleneck paired with this jacket in the Fall.
You may remember me mentioning these white sandals from Katharine Page. Katharine Page makes great leather sandals, and these that I am wearing are my new favorites. They are so comfy and go with everything in my closet because of the natural linen color. They are a super classic style that I will be wearing a lot!
I had a traumatic experience last evening. I had come home from running errands and got on the elevator in the garage of our building. The elevator to our unit is not heated or cooled. I got on the elevator and pushed 3 to our floor. The elevator stopped at 2 and didn’t move. I couldn’t get the door to open. I started to have a tiny freak out! I pushed the call button and the woman at the front desk said she would send someone over. At this point, I am sweating bullets and have to pee! I called my husband, and he went to the second floor where an employee of the building was trying to get it moving. I could hear my husband yelling at me, and I was yelling back at him. I am not a big “sweater,” but sweat was pouring off of me. I am in total freak out mode at this point! It finally shook and then started up. I was stuck on that thing for over ten minutes, which seemed like ten hours. Have you all ever been stuck like that on an elevator? I am not claustrophobic, but I think I am now! Just a little more stress to add to the week!
Hope your day is stress-free!xx
