BLACK AND WHITE HOUNDSTOOTH

Hi, everyone! I hope you had a great weekend and the start of the new week. I had such a good weekend! My bestie from Nashville came to town, and boy, did I need my good friend! As I have shared with you all of late, I am usually a very upbeat person but have been so blue lately, and having my friend here was medicine for my soul. We had so much fun laughing and shopping around. We even got snow on Sunday! And because she was here, I am keeping this short and sweet today because when I have my friends in, I let everything else slide!

BLACK AND WHITE HOUNDSTOOTH JACKET

It’s apropos that I chose to show this houndstooth jacket after the Alabama win last night (my husband is from Alabama and a huge fan). I love a black and white houndstooth and thought this jacket was so cute. It was purchased a few weeks ago, and y’all are going to kill me for even showing it because it is pretty much sold out. However, I am showing it because there are many black and white houndstooth jackets and blazers that you can get the same look with. I think mixing a graphic tee (this one sold out too, damnit!) with the houndstooth is so fun and modern.

I love the style of jeans I have on.

And I have cuffed them, but they look so chic uncuffed with a heel. I have worn this pair a lot. They are a looser style skinny, and high waisted, making them really comfy. I have also worn these boots many times, and if you like them, they are on sale, and I have found the place where the sizes are stocked (one good thing in this post today).

The friend that was here is an organizer in Nashville. She organized a few of my drawers then gave me my homework and shopping list to start the others. I went to The Container Store and bought these storage bins she told me to buy. They are on sale if you are doing a little organizing as well. My closet is a mess, and today, I am going to try to tackle it. Not fun, but I know it will make me feel better to get it done.
