COTTON CANDY COLOR BLOUSE
Happy Friday and Happy Easter Weekend! Do you all have big plans for Easter? We are going to church for the first time in person. Our church service is being held in the football stadium at SMU. I hope the weather warms up a little more, but I think it seems like a great idea to have the service outside. We have a huge congregation, and this way, more people will feel comfortable attending. We are having the family over later in the afternoon to hang out and have dinner. I don’t do Easter baskets for my kids anymore, just the grandkids. We usually give them a gift card to their favorite restaurant and call it a day, but I miss the baskets!
This gorgeous cotton candy-color blouse is perfect for Easter weekend and springtime. It is lightweight and comes in two other colorways, but I love the cotton candy colors (wearing an xs). I don’t know who else has this issue, but I never feel like I have the right tops. Tops are the one thing I feel like I never have (when actually my closet is full of them?), and I have a hard time finding ones that I really like. Last week when my friends were visiting, I bought four new ones! Anyway, most of us live in jeans these days, and finding a pretty top is always fun. Did I mention that this top is under $100?
MY WHITE JEANS
I bought the white jeans last year and loved them so much that I bought the exact same pair this year. These are from Madewell and are their vintage high-waist style. They are straight leg and are so comfortable. I bought my normal size (wearing a size 24) because they seem to run a little bit big. I have learned to go up a size in white jeans when they are skinny, but my regular size was roomy enough in this particular pair.
Okay, for the shoes…if you are looking for a heeled sandal, run don’t walk, and get this shoe because it is selling quickly (Neiman Marcus is almost out of sizes)! It is so comfy and a great dupe for the Bottega Veneta one, plus the price tag is fabulous!
I can’t believe we are going through another Easter with a pandemic (endemic) going on. I thought we would be back to normal by now, and I’m not sure that we will ever be. There is so much going on that it makes my head spin (I read way too much and watch too many videos). One thing I do know for sure is that God is in control (sure, I have to remind myself A LOT!). If you get stressed about the current situation like me, stop and take a deep breath and let God give you peace of mind. He’s got this, and HE IS RISEN!
Have a beautiful day and a very blessed Easter! xx
