 Happy New Year, Everyone! I hope you had a great time celebrating last night, whether you were dancing all night or in your bed snuggled up! Everyone has a different way of ringing in a new year, and ours was pretty chill. I wish I could say that I wore this Ted Baker dress last night, but it did not happen (you know that Ted Baker is always a go-to for me, remember here?)! We got back into town yesterday afternoon, after being gone for the week, so we ran to a quick dinner and were home before eight. We are watching The Crown, so we binge-watched some episodes and were in bed before midnight (which was how I wanted to see 2018 come in)!

It’s funny, most everyone I have talked to, has said that 2017 was not the best year. I know there has been a lot of uneasiness and people have suffered from floods, fires, illness, and such sad acts of terror (which I am deeply sad and sorry for), but personally, it was a great year for me. I think after going through breast cancer, every year that I am here is a good one! My family is healthy, I am healthy, and we have a roof over our heads, so in my mind, 2017 was just fine! I am so looking forward to seeing what 2018 has in store for my family and friends.

I wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate you supporting me through this blog. What started out as a “little” hobby, has turned into a full-time job, and I am so grateful! It has given me something to do, when I wondered five years ago, what I was going to do with my life after my children flew the coop. There are days when I want to throw in the towel, because of technical problems or I didn’t get the time to write a post which ends up stressing me out (and I start throwing out expletives), but then I get a sweet e-mail from a reader, and I know that it is all worth it! I have said many times, that this blog is mostly a lot of fluff. Fashion has always been my interest, and if I can inspire or help anyone reading this blog, then maybe this is my ministry. It means so much to me that anyone reads it!

I am wishing and praying that each of you has an incredible 2018, filled with health, prosperity, and happiness, and I wish I knew all of you so that I could give you a big hug! May God bless you and your families! Thank you again for being so supportive of The Middle Page!
