Hello, ladies! I hope you all are staying sane and are doing well! I returned from the most fun trip to Los Angeles on Saturday with my friend Heather! We had such a great time eating, shopping, getting massages, and going to the most fabulous event put on by Revolve. I wore this beautiful jumpsuit that is 1/2 off now! It was Christmas-inspired, with everything from a Ferris wheel to snow (fake, but nice touch!) and Khloe Kardashian (who we missed because it was too cold). It was a fantastic few days! I got home on Saturday afternoon just in time to change clothes and head back out for a concert. Sunday evening, our family rode a horse-drawn carriage ride through Highland Park. I’ve said previously that if you have never been to Dallas during December, you are missing out. You know the saying, “everything is bigger in Texas” well, it couldn’t be more accurate with holiday decor and lights!

We are almost halfway through December, so it’s time to bring out the velvet. I showed a pair of velvet pants a few weeks back, and I honestly can’t get enough of this fabric during the holidays and winter (so I am showing more!). Velvet is so chic and elegant, and the holidays are the perfect time to wear it. Don’t you love this cranberry color blazer? I bought the blazer a couple of weeks back to wear with denim, and dang if it is not on sale now. Yippee for you! This double-breasted blazer is slightly oversized with structured shoulders and a peak lapel. It comes in three other colors (the green is gorgeous) with pants that match. The blazer and every full-priced item are 40% off at Banana Republic (some exclusions).

I paired the blazer with a cotton striped shirt (also from Banana Republic), flare jeans, and the prettiest sparkle pumps! I love these flare jeans I’m wearing. They make your legs look super long! The pumps are from one of my favorite brands, Sarah Flint. I bought the pump, loafer, and sandal in a gun-metal fabric. The next thing I want is the waist belt in the same material because it goes with everything!

I have so much to do, but I am home this morning because we have tornado warnings and storms. The sky has that weird yellow hue. I guess it would be a good time to start wrapping gifts! I hope you all have a great day!

Be Well and Stay Safe!
