LAVENDER SWEATSHIRT STYLE SWEATER

Happy Friday, everyone!

I have been a bit MIA this week because I was in Los Angeles. If I had been more prepared, I would have had posts written and ready to go, but I am not that organized! I had such a great time eating, shopping, and laughing. I think Heather and I hit every store in LA and made some fun purchases. One thing I did notice, was the color lavender was everywhere, which is one of my favorites to wear. I am so glad I took this lavender cashmere sweatshirt style sweater from Madewell I am wearing with me for two reasons. One, I wore the heck out of it (it was so chilly in LA) and I love the style. Two, I love how soft it is, and know I will be wearing it all spring (plus the price is right for cashmere).

I have rounded up a few more lavender sweaters for you since winter is still showing up, but we still need to dress warmly. And now that March is here, I am bringing out the spring colors

Other than shopping and eating in LA, we got together with a sweet young friend of mine and went to her parent’s home in Pacific Pallasaides. Their house was probably the coolest house I’ve ever seen. I still can’t get over it!  We also got together with some blogger friends that live in LA, Janet, and Melissa. We had a great time catching up with them. Wednesday night, Natalie (our youngest Chic at Every Age girl) arrived, and we had a fun dinner at Mr. Chow’s.

Yesterday morning was spent at Rachel Zoe’s office, and we got to visit with her and her husband Roger for a good while. We then did a Facebook Live and Instagram TV video with Rachel styling each of us from the Box of Style that you saw here. We filmed it in the archive room of their offices, and I cannot even tell you how fabulous the clothes and shoes were. She has the best style! I have much to do today to catch up.

I love to travel, but it’s hard to come back to reality. I’m shooting for the blog, exercising (need after the last three days), and getting my hair colored (thank goodness, because the gray is starting to show!) What are your plans for the weekend?
