LOW-KEY SPARKLE

LOW-KEY SPARKLE WITH SO HEATHER

Hello, ladies! We got through with babysitting over the weekend, and I am a tired girl. It’s not so much that the kids need that much, but I think more of having someone in your home for four days straight and getting them where they need to be. I had yesterday off and have guests coming in for less than twenty-four hours this evening. I am dying for a real vacation, but that will not happen until mid-July. How about you all? Are you traveling?

Today, my “work-wife” Heather and I are showing the cutest and softest (on the inside) sequin jacket that is so much fun for a third layer. Most of us get a little chilly in the air conditioning, and this is such a fun, low-key sparkle jacket to wear anytime, day or night. We had lunch at the Sunset Marquis Hotel when I was in LA last week. It’s very laid back, and the restaurant is outdoors. An older lady walked in wearing a long black sequin trench, and it was the most chic look. I mention it so you know wearing a low-key sequin piece during the day is fine. We used to think sequins were only for the evening, but that is not so anymore.

I particularly like this one because it is soft on the inside and not the least bit scratchy. With the itchy skin I’ve had; lately, rough fabrics are not my friend! Heather and I showed up in white jeans ( me in flares and her in cargo) and the same family color in a tank. We never plan these outfits; they just happen. This is a look you can wear almost anywhere, day or night. The jacket is a great addition to what you (probably) have in your closet, and did I mention that it is $128? It comes in black too!

I am still trying to figure out what I can and can’t use on my skin. This has been an arduous process, and I will admit one that has gotten me down. I usually am pretty upbeat about things, but this process is taxing. I’m waiting to talk to a doctor who is more of a naturopathic next week. I’ve heard fantastic things about him and hope he can help me. If not, then I will move on to a functional medical doctor. My rashes and itchiness are not the end of the world; believe me, I know there are worse things. It’s just aggravating and, well, itchy!

I hope you all have a fantastic day! Stay well and Be safe! xx
