THE BEST VEGAN LEATHER PAPER-BAG WAIST PANTS
Happy Friday! How has everyone’s week been? I guess it’s because I was gone for a week, but I feel like I’m on a hamster wheel and can’t get off, and it’s not even the holidays yet! Speaking of the holidays, have you all noticed that some retailers are already pushing Black Friday and have Christmas out? It makes me mad and stresses me out, but on the other hand, it makes me think that I better start thinking about it. Speaking of the holidays, how cute are these vegan leather paper-bag waist pants and sequin top? I think it’s a great look to wear now or during the holidays.
Vegan leather has come a long way! I remember when it looked so cheap and was so hot! Vegan leather is often made from polyurethane, but I discovered that it could also be made from sustainable materials such as pineapple, cactus leaves, apple peels, other fruit waste, and recycled plastic. My BFF, Heather, and I found these vegan paper-bag waist pants at Evereve during our last shopping outing. We both loved them so much that we bought them. These pants have a tie belt and tapered legs. The vegan leather is soft and has a four-way stretch that moves with you! These pants look great dressed up with a heel or bootie or dressed down with a sneaker.
Evereve has great vegan pieces, as well as Alice & Olivia. I love this puffer vest, blazer, and top from Evereve, my all-time favorite jumpsuit ( so darn soft), blazer, and button-down from Alice & Olivia.
I paired my vegan pants with a fabulous sequin button-down that comes in three other colors. I love it so much that I just added the green to my cart. It’s a great shirt that looks good with all styles of pants and one that is pretty reasonable. I will be wearing this outfit a lot!
We are putting back on the babysitting hats starting this afternoon when I do the carpool pickup! We are taking the kids to the SMU tailgate and game tonight, and I am looking so forward to it! They have games on Saturday, and I have a baby shower to attend. Grandad has to take over for a few hours. Our daughter and family arrive in Dallas tomorrow, and we will all get together on Sunday evening for dinner. Always something going on around here!
I hope you have a great weekend! Stay safe and be well! xx
