 MATCHING SUMMER LOOK

Hello! It feels like it’s been a minute since I’ve been here. Life has been super busy lately with traveling and family. It’s all been good, but I am a homebody and always so happy to get home. We were in Fredericksburg, Texas, this past weekend with our small group from church. Our group has four couples, but one couldn’t make it. We have decided that we are great travel companions! Have you ever been to Fredericksburg? I had heard it was a fun little town to visit, but I had no idea it was like visiting Napa! There are over eighty wineries, and they are high-end. We toured two of them, and I cannot wait to go back and tour more. I honestly thought that Texas wines would be “meh,” but they are delicious! If you like antiquing, Fredericksburg is fantastic for that as well! Anyway, we had so much fun!

Today, I wanted to show you a matching set perfect for summer! I love a matching set and the fact that these pants have a vest. I’m sure you have seen vests everywhere because they are so on-trend. The beauty of a matching set is that you can wear the pieces together or separately. I will wear the vest with dark denim and a denim skirt. I plan to wear pants with a navy tee or button-down. Both of these pieces are made of cotton and purchased separately. The pants are roomy and run a little big. I wore this outfit with a white tank, denim heels, and a vintage blue Chanel bag that I bought for my granddaughter, whose name is Margot Blue. She won’t get it until she graduates from college, so someone has to use it, right? If you are a necklace girl, I think this piece would look stunning with this outfit!

How do you all feel about matching sets? I’ve said it many times, but matching sets are an easy way to get dressed and look pulled together without much thought. I love a throw-on-and-go outfit! Check out the looks below!

 

This is off the subject of fashion, but something we need to know about. How many of you are turning 65
this year or close to it? The year you turn 65 is a year that you will get a lot of information about
healthcare options. I hadn’t put a lot of thought into it until I started working with Medicare. There is so
much information, but an easy way to get the information you need is through Medicare.gov. You can go
to Medicare.gov or call 1-800-MEDICARE to get all the information you need to make an informed decision.

Medicare.gov is the official site where you can learn how it works and learn about coverages and costs.
For me, 65 will be here in the blink of an eye, and I want to ensure that I get all of the benefits I’ve earned.
I wanted to pass this information on to you because it’s essential. We have to look after our health, right?

I am catching up today and trying to get things packed up and sent to Montana. We are headed that way soon for a few days to check out the new furniture we bought and hang some art. It’s still very chilly there, so I hope we time it to beat the heat here.
