MATCHY MATCHY
MATCHY MATCHY

Happy Friday! Hopefully, you made it through another long week unscathed. We did over here, but the days are getting longer and longer. I am seriously asking if it’s six o’clock (my five o’clock) around 3:30 these days. We have been trying to take our walk and get out of the house around four when the hours seem to drag, although yesterday and today have been nasty out. We had planned to go to some of our friends for a social distancing happy hour this evening (with our lawn chairs and cocktails), but the weather is going to be bad. I’ve been hearing about friends getting together this way. I don’t know about you all, but I am in need of seeing friends, and this sounds like a great way to do it. Maybe next week?!
Matchy Matchy with Club Monaco
I have a few outfit pictures to show that, of course, were shot BC quarantine, and this is one of them. I have loved everything from Club Monaco this Spring because of the ease of the pieces. If you remember, I wore these exact pants in the soft grey in this post. I loved the Club Monaco pants so much that I bought them in the navy (wearing the 00) and bought the shirt to go with them to make this matchy-matchy look. I love these soft viscose wide-leg pants so much. They are so comfortable and can be dressed up or down. I wore them with my Stuart Weitzman “Nudist” sandal but have worn them with sneakers, and they look just as good. Club Monaco is offering 25% off the site right now with Code: 25OFF.
Other pieces that are in my cart at the moment are this cotton Summer Cardigan, Boucle Polo Shirt, Caftan Sleeve Blouse, Satin Stripe Sweatshirt and Matching Pant, and this Duster, that can be worn as a kimono jacket, cardigan, and cover-up. They also have a tee that I like because it has a longer sleeve. So many good pieces all 25% off.
Colleen Rothschild Beauty
I posted this on my Instagram Stories the other day but wanted to make sure you saw this. I am a huge fan of Colleen Rothschild Beauty. She came out with a hair mask about a year ago that I absolutely love. Well, she has come out with a shampoo to go with it, and I love it! It made my hair so shiny and actually helped my curl (can’t promise that for your hair, but it did for me). It smells better than any shampoo I’ve ever smelled too!
Anyway, she has a special right now. You get a huge microfiber towel and shampoo for $36. All of her best-sellers are 25% off now too. The Cleansing Balm is the bomb, and I can’t even tell you how much I am addicted to this Retinol Supreme Eye Serum! I’m on my one-hundredth bottle ( exaggerating a little)! It has changed the dry skin under my eyes, and I will never not have it!

Okay, ladies, I hope you have a good weekend! I am going to try and tackle something! Not sure what that is, but I am going to do it! Please stay home and be safe and healthy! Sending love and hugs your way! xx

Virtual cocktail parties online are the way to go! People in Canada are being fined for having gatherings with 5 or more unrelated people even when distancing, as it’s too dangerous. Now their saying it can spread just from talking and we should all wear masks when we go out. I don’t want to lecture, but don’t risk it please.

I am not meaning to get into a debate on your blog, but per the CDC, while yes it can spread from an infected person through talking, right now they say that it is if you are less than six feet away. This is because, again per the CDC, that person’s droplets have to land directly into your mouth or nose and so that person would have to be a very robust talker to have their droplets travel more than six feet into your mouth or nose. So I say weather permitting, have your social distancing cocktail party; otherwise virtual cocktail party would have to do.

I agree with Julie – virtual is the way to go right now.
