Happy Friday, everyone! You all made me feel so much better and that I am not alone in my thinking with your sweet comments on my last post. Thank you to every one of you that commented! You all are so great, and I am happy that we are in this tribe together! Today, you will be delighted to know that it’s all about fashion! I found some great hi/low pieces from Nordstrom that I will be wearing during Christmas week (can we believe that is next week?). I love shopping at Nordstrom for everyday pieces but did you know that Nordstrom has some of the best designer pieces? It’s the easiest place to find the hi and low!
MIXING HI/LO WITH NORDSTROM
Since we aren’t going anywhere but will have family over a few nights, I decided I still need to dress up and make it feel festive. I got the cutest dress from Fuzzi that will get me through next week and beyond! What is not to love about a black dress? This dress is an all-occasion dress. It can be dressed up or down, which in my opinion, is the best investment. It’s made from Fuzzi’s signature wrinkle-resistant tulle and slips right over your head. No zippers or buttons making it super comfy! I love it with the faux leather moto jacket thrown on top or a fur topper of some sort. I can also see it with a turtleneck or white fitted button-down underneath. Anyway, this dress can be worn all year round.
Can you believe that I didn’t have a great black clutch?
I saw this clutch from Chloe and loved it because it was big enough to fit all of the junk that I carry with me, even at night. It takes a fairly big bag to hold my wallet, sunglasses, reading glasses, lipstick (well, about ten of them!), car keys, and you get it! This bag is a beautiful semi-aniline (has a thin protective topcoat added to protect it from wear and staining), calf-skin leather, and magnetic closure. The woven trim acts as a hand strap. It also comes in two more colors.
I hardly ever change my earrings, but I saw these cool hoops and thought they were worthy of wearing. The price is pretty great too! To finish off my look, I went with my Jimmy Choo combat boots. I love these boots, but any combat boot would be great with this dress. Can’t you picture it with a furry slide or pretty sandal come summer?
I hope you all are finished or almost finished with your shopping. So I did want to include a few more gift ideas below from Nordstrom if you need a little more help. I hope you take some time to relax this weekend and enjoy the season and the true meaning of Christmas! You are good little elves, and you deserve it!
I am sending you lots of love!
Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post!
