Good Morning, friends! Well, here we are Christmas week! How does it always get here so quickly? Are you ready? I have a few gifts left to wrap, but I think I am all set. Now, I need to work on getting Christmas Eve put together. We will have my family over here to celebrate. We don’t do anything fancy, but it is still work getting it all together. I have a screened-in porch with heaters, so I think we will do it outside (even though it’s supposed to be cold).
New Year’s Eve Look For Staying Home
Now that Christmas week is here, I wanted to show you a fun New Year’s Eve look for staying at home this year. Just because most of us will be home this New Year’s Eve (well, I am most every year!) doesn’t mean you can’t get dolled up and make it festive. This NYE, in particular, is a good one to celebrate that 2020 will be a memory! Even if it’s just two of you, put on some sparkles and bid 2020 adieu!
Since this has been the year of the jogger, I found this sequin pair (wearing the xs) that is so fitting for NYE.
I paired it with an adorable puffed sleeve top and, because I’m staying in, brought out my glitter sneakers (similar) to keep comfortable. ( I know they are expensive, but I am obsessed with Golden Goose for comfort.) If you are wondering whether the jogger will stay in style, I think so. I had a pair of satin joggers about fifteen years ago and wish that I still had them. Next year when (hopefully) life is back to normal, wear them with a pump for a night out.
I am headed to get my hair colored today. It’s my one big activity for the day! I have one more post this week. And then I think I am taking next week off. I need a little “me” time! And I am re-doing an upstairs den and want to get that finished, and I would love to read a book!
I hope you have a great day, get much accomplished, and stay well! xx
