ORGANIC COTTON DRESS FOR HOT TEMPS

Hi, everyone! I had a whirlwind twenty-four hours flying to Nashville on Saturday and back home on Sunday. Being there for my friend’s son’s wedding reception/gender reveal was so special. But, as I said in Saturday’s post, he is a badass in the military. Also, about 80% of everyone there guessed they were having a girl (me too). The 20% were correct; I’ve never seen a dad-to-be so excited! However, I stayed at The Graduate, which is the cutest hotel.

Every room has a portrait of Dolly Parton above the bed, and the rooftop is adorable. Also, I would have loved to enjoy the hotel and room longer, but it wasn’t in the cards this time. If you travel to Nashville, it’s such a fun place to stay! Okay, today, I found a great organic cotton dress for hot temps!

ORGANIC COTTON DRESS FOR HOT TEMPS

This organic cotton dress (under $160) is super soft and the perfect piece to throw on when the temperatures get very hot. It has a self-belt to give the dress some shape. I love it in the washed black. But it also comes in a light grey. I paired it with a white denim jacket (mine is older). If you don’t have a denim jacket In white, you should probably add that to your wardrobe NOW. The reason I say that is obvious.

Number one, it goes with anything and everything. Number two, they are getting harder to find. Also, I looked everywhere, and so many were already sold out. A white denim jacket you will have for many years to come, and the ones I linked below have excellent price points. Moreover, my sandals are about three years old but are still available. I love the mixed metal chain! They are more of an investment, but I’m still wearing them three years later.

Also, I have a pretty packed day today. I’m in the chair (hair color) for about three hours and then have lots of errands. Moreover, one of my very good friends is flying in tomorrow to have surgery. I have to get my nurse outfit ready because I will be taking care of her for the next week. We are going to make it fun!
