OVERSIZED BLAZERS

Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you all have had a great weekend so far! I hope you have something nice planned to do today. We are headed to dinner tonight with the family. Some are out of town, which is so rude, and I will not be nice when they come back to town (I’m only kidding)! It feels very off posting on a Sunday but last week was so busy that I didn’t get around to it. May is the craziest month!

OVERSIZED BLAZERS

Today, Heather and I are showing a trend that we both like and is everywhere: oversized blazers. We got these blazers from an influencer that we love, Lisa DiCicco (a hot little number who is the kindest person!), who came out with this oversized blazer (in black and tan for $225). We were with Lisa in LA back in March, and she shared with us that she was launching her first-ever blazer. Also, we both signed up for them immediately! I love supporting my blogger friends and (women in general!).

These blazers are super stylish and very oversized available in XS/S and M/L. I will say that even if you are small to medium, the XS/S will probably work (we both are wearing). I love draping this blazer over my shoulders as I would my husband’s suit coat. Oversized blazers look great with jeans, but I have seen them worn over dresses and cargo-type pants, and they look super chic! Remember, the point is for them to look oversized.

I paired my blazer with these flare jeans that I love and this gorgeous knit tank made of metallic thread. I think the scalloped edges give this a more elevated look. If you want to show off a little of your midriff, you can check out what Heather wore with her blazer.

I think that a mani/pedi is a great idea for today.

My toes are embarrassed by the way they look! Even though it is Mother’s Day, I might tackle my closet again. Last month, I did a big clean-out, but I didn’t get around to accessories and some of my drawers. The room that we are adding on is almost finished! The plastic came down yesterday (but up again tomorrow as they sand the floors), and I am thrilled with how it looks! It’s so bright and light! I hope everyone is out of my house by the end of next week!
