PRE-FALL FAVORITES WITH NORDSTROM
Hello, everyone! How was your Fourth of July weekend? Between taking care of two grandchildren, a new puppy (who by the way is not feeling good and I am worried), and my youngest son’s dog, I am wiped out! It was a good weekend, but granny is going to need a break this week. We are keeping the children until the 16th, and I am getting a babysitter for a few afternoons and evenings this week! It takes a village, people!!! Today, I am so excited to talk about a few of my pre-fall favorites at Nordstrom. Nordstrom has all of my favorites already! I know, it’s a hundred and fifty degrees outside, and talking about fall seems crazy, but the way retail is, pre-fall is already in the stores.
Animal Prints Are Still Strong For Fall
I have said it several times, but animal prints are going nowhere fast (thank goodness!). Leopard is my favorite color, and it’s a print that might as well be considered a neutral. Animal prints are everywhere and on everything for fall. I love the top that I am wearing from one of my favorite designers, Ganni. Ganni is a Copenhagen based brand that I have fallen in love with this past year because of their easy wear designs that are full of personality! Also, the price point is excellent. The top I have on is a silk and cotton peplum smocked style. I love it with these light denim jeans from Mother and my Givenchy boots. Y’all, I know these are a little pricey, but I will tell you that they are THE most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn. I got mine last year, but they are still so hot that they are back again. I’m hoping they come out with a different color because I will buy them for sure! They are a great investment!!! This entire outfit can be worn now then into the fall.
Some Of My Pre- Fall Favorite Pieces From Ganni
A few of my favorite pre-fall pieces that I love from Ganni are this tiger print metallic cardigan, this floral wrap midi dress, a tiger print raincoat, and this pretty ruffle seersucker shirt. All of these pieces are great to wear now and into the fall.
Some other early pre-fall pieces that I think are great for adding to your wardrobe now are these. I love this wool sweater dress worn by itself or with a jacket thrown on top, it is a great LBD to add to your wardrobe. Everyone should have a black blazer for fall, and this cotton one is perfect for now or come September. This fun midi wrap skirt has voluminous tiers that would look so cute with boots or sneakers.

Midi Skirts Are Back With A Vengence
Speaking of midi skirts, they are back, and there are so many cute ones to choose from. A midi skirt works now with sandals or wedges and a tee but in the fall, adding a boot or sneaker (as said above) and a sweater changes the look. These are my favorite midi skirts to wear now and into fall.
Are you all shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary sale? If so, I need some help. Do you all like it when I pick my favorites and post on the blog? The grandkids are in camp this week. I need to be so organized because the pickup is at 2 pm. I have also had a glass of wine every single night for the last couple of weeks. I’m not supposed to have more than three or four per week, but is it better to have a glass of wine or stress? And, it was Jesus’s first miracle so it must be okay! 🙂
