THE MOST COMFORTABLE JEANS WITH NYDJ AND BLOOMINGDALES

Well, good morning everyone! When I was younger and thought about what my life would look like at this stage, I thought I might be reading books, needlepointing, and traveling some. From what I thought, a lot of relaxing after raising the kids. Hahaha, not at all what my life looks like! Have I even had time to read a book or magazine or finish the needlepoint Christmas stockings I’ve had in a box for twenty years? Absolutely not! I had no idea that my life would be as busy as it is and thank goodness I have the most comfortable jeans for all of my running around! I am partnering with Bloomingdales (so happy) and NYDJ today to show you this simple but classic outfit.

THE MOST COMFORTABLE JEANS

First of all, I am so excited to be working with Bloomingdales because they are one of my favorite department stores. Whenever I am in New York, it is one of my very first stops. Bloomingdales carries so many great brands, and I love how the store is laid out by different designers. It’s so easy to shop. Since I don’t live in New York, it’s just as simple to shop Bloomingdales online. I found these super comfortable jeans from NYDJ. These jeans are a classic dark blue wash and hit at the ankle. They have NYDJ’s exclusive Lift and Tuck Technology that makes you look one size smaller by slimming the front and lifting the bootie (and who doesn’t want that?). There is a good amount of stretch making them the best for everyday wear. These jeans run a little large, so size down. NYDJ has another pair that I love that is on sale, but my size is sold out, so someone needs to get them! NYDJ are made for every woman in petite to plus sizes.

While browsing through NYDJ pieces, I saw this beautiful plum color blouse that is perfect for early fall. This machine washable blouse has three-quarter length sleeves, button cuffs, side slits for a high/low hem, and a beautifully pleated back. The shirt comes in five other colors as well and comes in under $100! It runs a little big too, so sizing down is recommended. I don’t like many of my tops in my closet at the moment, so I am always looking to replace them. I found this mock-neck top that will be so cute under a jacket, this frayed studded top that looks very similar to a very expensive top I bought this past year, and this layered look tied front top that is an easy throw on over jeans. My favorite though is this striped top in burgundy. It’s $45 and is the color of the season!!!

What are your thoughts on the pumps I am wearing? I know the white is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. I have been pushing back on joining in on the white pump fad for a while now, but alas, I succumbed and I kind of like it! I think it gives the outfit a fresh look. And yes, you can wear them after Labor Day (and white boots)! If white pumps aren’t your thing, I suggest a leopard print shoe for an outfit as I have on. You will be the Cats Meow! I

So back to my thoughts on my life at this stage. Some days I want to run away and find a hotel room on the beach and sleep because I am so busy and don’t ever get a chance to rest. I know there will come a day when I don’t have all of this going on and I will wish for it. Busy is good at this stage of life, right?

I hope you all have a great day! I am off to a shopping event today, and I have so many errands to do before Friday. I am hosting my dad’s 80th birthday dinner, and I want it to be super festive for him. I appreciate you reading and hope you have a great day!
