Hi, everyone and happy Friday! What do you all have planned for the weekend? I have a fun weekend starting today. It’s my birthday, and I am lunching with a friend and having dinner tonight with the family. I plan to celebrate all weekend!
I used to lie about my age until I had cancer and now I am so happy to be here that I don’t care how old I am! I am healthy, and that’s all that matters. I am, however, starting to notice some things that probably are due to the aging process, like my neck sagging and my eyesight getting worse. I need my glasses all of the time now! I use Transitions lenses for my “all of the time” lenses. It’s so nice to be able to read whether I’m outside or in front of my computer – the lenses automatically darken when I’m outside, and they fade back to clear indoors. They also protect my eyes from 100% of UV rays and harmful blue light both indoors and out.
I spend most of my days (who am I kidding, nights too) in front of my computer writing posts and R&D (i.e., shopping), which means I depend on my glasses to see. My eyes used to get tired from staring at the screen. As a smart technology, my Transitions lenses help with that tired feeling by filtering out the harmful light in every situation. I can definitely tell my eyes are more comfortable at the end of the day.
As I mentioned in this post, Transitions lenses can be added to whatever frames you love. I found these Fendi (how cute are they?) frames to put my prescription in and you can see that they automatically darken when I’m outdoors. I can go from working in front of the computer to jumping in the car to run errands or have lunch with a friend, and my lenses adapt and protect within seconds! If you haven’t tried Transitions lenses or haven’t tried them in a while (maybe it’s because you think they aren’t that cool), check them out and give them another try. Like all technologies, Transitions lenses have evolved to be faster and darker than ever before. And I’m telling you, they are really are COOL!
I’m off to get ready for the day! Lunch at one of my favorite spots with one of my favorite people, then shooting for the blog, then dinner! This day will be over and done with before my caffeine kicks in! I hope you all have a great day! Thank you for reading! xx
