Hi, everyone and happy Friday! What do you all have planned for the weekend? I have a fun weekend starting today. It’s my birthday, and I am lunching with a friend and having dinner tonight with the family. I plan to celebrate all weekend!

I used to lie about my age until I had cancer and now I am so happy to be here that I don’t care how old I am! I am healthy, and that’s all that matters. I am, however, starting to notice some things that probably are due to the aging process, like my neck sagging and my eyesight getting worse. I need my glasses all of the time now! I use Transitions lenses for my “all of the time” lenses. It’s so nice to be able to read whether I’m outside or in front of my computer – the lenses automatically darken when I’m outside, and they fade back to clear indoors. They also protect my eyes from 100% of UV rays and harmful blue light both indoors and out.

I spend most of my days (who am I kidding, nights too) in front of my computer writing posts and R&D (i.e., shopping), which means I depend on my glasses to see. I can definitely tell my eyes are more comfortable at the end of the day.
