TWO LOOKS FOR THE HOLIDAYS
TWO LOOKS FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Good Morning, all! Boy, did it get frigid in Dallas! Monday, the temperature dropped thirty degrees in about four hours and got me thinking about Christmas shopping. Since the holidays are upon us, I wanted to show you two looks that I have worn in the last couple of weeks that are fantastic for the holidays. Sometimes you need just a subtle bit of sparkle, and these two outfits fit the bill.
MY FAVORITE BLOUSE OF LATE
The first outfit I wore to dinner in New York last week. I bought both of these pieces at Intermix while I was in LA a few weeks back. The black top is one of my favorite blouses of late. I love the higher neck and the beautiful big rhinestone buttons. This blouse looks great with jeans, but it will be stunning with leather pants or a skirt. I am always on the hunt for pretty blouses to wear at night or for special occasions that don’t cost $400! It also comes in ivory and green (with gold buttons). This blouse has just the right amount of sparkle for me. I paired the blouse with these fabulous jeans that are embellished with crystals at the waist. These run a little big, so I got the size up (24) because they are supposed to look more “boyfriend” than skinny. How fun are they?
Just The Right Amount Of Shine
The top and skirt (below) from Jonathan Simkhai is fantastic for the holidays and beyond. It has just the right amount of shine. I can wear them together or separately with other pieces. I wore this a few weeks back to a dinner I attended for Alexandre Birman, and it was the perfect look with my new Alexandre Birman pumps. I honestly was looking for a gunmetal shoe to go with the outfit, but these colored snakeskin pumps look perfect and unexpected!
Ladies, even though Breast Cancer Awareness month is over, I want to keep reminding you to check yourselves and get your mammograms. I cannot believe that yesterday, I had three people reach out to me about being diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. I do not know what is going on, but three in one day was a lot! I believe that our environment is responsible for the rise in cancer, and that is why I will continue to bring this up. On that note, Today is World Kindness Day. Everyone is battling something, so let’s all try to show kindness and compassion today and every day!
Have a great day, and remember to smile!

What is your black purse. The strap on your bag looks different than the strap on the Kurt Geiger bag. TY

Hi, Jo! Hope you are well this morning! My bag is a Chanel bag, but I linked the Kurt Geiger as similar. xx
