WHITE SHIRTDRESS FOR THE WIN WITH NORDSTROM

Good Morning, everyone! How are you today? I am a little off my usual schedule this week, and it’s got me a little crazy (haha, I’m always a little crazy)! I flew to Los Angeles yesterday to meet my daughter for an event she is hosting. Also, to have a mother-daughter weekend with her. She has never asked me to travel to an event she was involved with so when she asked, I jumped! First, let’s talk about this white shirtdress for the win with Nordstrom, and then I will fill you in on the event tonight later!

A White Shirtdress Can Be Worn So Many Ways

I saw this fantastic white shirtdress at Nordstrom and grabbed it right away to have in my closet to start wearing now. A shirtdress is a great style to have because you can do so many things with it. I chose to wear it simple with the self-tie and flat sandals, but I would add another style belt to it, wear it with wedges, open with a colorful tank underneath, or wear it as a swimsuit cover-up. It’s an easy throw on style dress, and those are the best. I love a good throw and go! Nordstrom has some great shirtdresses and makes it super easy to get them. How cute is the straw bag I am carrying? I am obsessed with this canteen shape and the price!

Alterations from anything in your closet can be done at Nordstrom

Even though I live two seconds from Nordstrom, I am the queen of looking on the website, purchasing online, and picking up in the store. If you have a Nordstrom in your town, BOPUS (Buy Online Pick Up in Store) is such an easy and stress-free way to shop! If you don’t have a Nordstrom close by, they offer free shipping and free returns! Did you know that you can also make an alteration appointment directly on the Nordstrom site? I had no idea that Nordstrom would alter anything in your closet (doesn’t even have to be from Nordstrom).

Can I tell you how long some of my things have been in the back of my trunk to take in to have altered because I didn’t want to make a special trip to the alterations place I use? Now, I can run them to Nordstrom when I shop. I’m so excited about this! One more thing that I have just learned about Nordstrom that my husband will love is that he can get his shoes shined there! That’s a win-win for our family!

Okay, about tonight. My girl is hosting an event with Violet Grey (my favorite beauty boutique in LA) owner Cassandra Grey and Carole Radziwill (former Real Housewife of New York) at the Violet Grey store. I’m so excited to meet these women. I’ve followed Cassandra Grey’s story and success for a long time. I have to admit that I have never watched a Real Housewife show. I tried to watch the one from Dallas but after the first ten minutes, I was out and I just can’t!

Anyway, Carole Radziwill is so interesting, I found out that she has been an author, worked at ABC under Peter Jennings and spent six weeks in Kandahar, with an infantry unit of the 101st Airborne Division. I hope I can post photos to my Instagram stories!
