HOUSEWARMING

Hi Everyone! Today, I wanted to tell you what I have been thinking a lot about over the last couple of weeks. What to give as a housewarming gift. You know when you rack your brain trying to think of what to give for certain milestones in life? Maybe you don’t… but when I gift give, I really want it to relate to the person (obviously!).

My daughter and her fiancé’ just bought and moved into their home. This is the first time either of them have been homeowners, and that’s a pretty big deal. I wanted to wait until I saw the house to get them a gift. The house is a hodgepodge of their two lives and so eclectic, so something traditional seemed…well, too traditional. I ended up getting them a chandelier made from test tubes (sounds strange, but is really cool). I wanted to share with you some of my favorite finds for housewarming gifts. Maybe you don’t need any ideas at the moment, but you can always come back to this post. What are your favorite gifts to give a new homeowner, or celebrate a new home?
