BIOSSANCE…THE ILLUMINATOR
Happy Friday! I hope you all have had a great week, wherever you are! Can we talk about skin today? I think the older I get, the harder it is to look into that magnifying mirror (can be shocking for sure), but I have to because I can’t see! If I didn’t, I would look like THIS after putting on my make up! During my forties, I really started concentrating on my eyes, because I could see the elasticity starting to retreat a bit. Now that I am way passed that, I am watching my skin change by the week! This aging s**t is real!!! The skin around the eyes is so thin and needs to be coddled like a newborn baby!
Enter…The Illuminator by Biossance! If you have been reading for the last year, you know that I really am a big fan of Biossance (remember Here and Here). I was so excited when they came out with an eye gel! No offense Biossance, but FINALLY! Their products are made with 100% plant based squalane, which is a natural moisturizer. So, it not only has their patented squalane for moisture to help with fine lines and wrinkles, but also the ingredients eyeseryl and argirelene (say what?). Unless you are a chemist, all you need to know about these, is that they are a peptide duo that help reduce dark circles and puffiness. There is also Swiss apple stem cell extract, to help rejuvenate the eye area to make you brighter! In other words this stuff covers all my eye concerns!
The Illuminator is a very light weight gel that can be used with any skin type. I use it morning and night, lightly tapping around my eye area (with my ring finger). I was so happy that this product came out, because my under eye area always seems dry. Do you all have a problem with concealer looking dry under your eyes? Mine have looked that way a lot, and it drives me crazy! This has helped the skin under my eyes look a lot more hydrated. If they seem extra dry, I mix in a little drop of the company’s The Nourisher, which is a rose face oil. These products really do help with dryness. Now if I could just get them to come up with an eyedrop!!!
