FUN WAY TO TRY THE MESH TREND WITH CHIC AT EVERY AGE

Happy Friday, fashion lovers! I hope you all have had a great week! We are in Montana for a golf tournament and a reprieve from the heat. I actually have on a sweater as I am writing this post! It may be because the air conditioning in the house we are staying in is working too well, but it’s still about 75 degrees and cloudy. I will take it! My husband is playing in a member-member golf tournament through Saturday. I am taking advantage of catching up on sleep (I slept eleven hours the first night here!), having a massage, and riding horses. Today’s post is on a fashion trend that has been hard for me to get behind until the Chic At Every Age girls found this mesh top.

I started seeing the mesh trend pop up in the Spring and couldn’t imagine wearing something like this! I saw this trend in magazines, fashion websites, and on women in Hollywood. There are so many trends that I don’t feel are age appropriate (at least for me) right now. Cropped tops, cut-outs, and mesh everything. I would not wear mesh until we found this top at Anthropologie! This is one mesh piece that I can get behind! This mesh top has rhinestones that give it a little something “extra” and comes with a detachable cami (in case you want to go without…haha!). We all seemed to like it with the cami it came with, but any color cami would look great under it and pick up the colors in the rhinestones. I also love this mesh tank that comes in four different colors. A great piece to wear under a blazer! Both tops are under $100!

I’ve had the denim pants I’m wearing for a few years, but Cinq à Sept is still making the same pant. I had not worn them in a while but pulled them out because they had the same color stitching as the top. I like them together and was reminded how much I like these pants. The shoes are regrettably unavailable (the L’Agence style I have in five colors and love!), but these are relatively similar.

The weekend weather in Montana is calling for a bit of rain. There are fires somewhere in the Northwest of the state, causing the sky to be very smoky here (we are about an hour from Missoula), and the rain will be welcome. The temperatures will be in the mid-seventies. I dread heading back on Monday. However, a cold front should come through Dallas on Tuesday with a high of 94! That sounds like a cold front to me, and I will take it!

I hope you all have a great weekend! Stay well and Be safe! xx
