CAMOUFLAGE BLAZER OF MY DREAMS

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I am back from my quick trip to New York and dead tired! Heather and I didn’t sleep well either night we were there, and we started both of our days super early. We did have so much fun, though! We shot photos for our blogs, shopped, and attended the Veronica Beard and Sally Lapointe shows. Both of them were fabulous! I love visiting New York just to get inspiration from the stores and women on the street. I’m glad to be home for a minute before my husband, and I leave again for Nashville on Friday for a wedding. I wanted to show you the dreamy camouflage blazer today.
I saw this blazer and immediately fell in love with it.
So. I have several camouflage jackets that I still love to wear but have never seen the pattern on a blazer like this (except for a man). The blazer becomes so feminine with the gold buttons. Styled the way I am wearing it with black jeans and a tee or over a skirt or dress, this blazer is super chic. I would wear camo with browns, navy, black, grey, white, camel, and orange. Camouflage is a lot like animal prints. It’s really a classic print that can be worn year-round, but I particularly like it in the fall. The jeans I am wearing have a great fit. I had the hem ripped out for a raw edge look.

I have another busy day today.
This morning I had computer issues that has put me behind. I am shooting for the blog and have two meetings. All I want to do is stay home and cuddle with my puppy and catch up. I probably shouldn’t have gone to New York, but since July 1, 2013 (cancer diagnosis), I decided I wasn’t going to miss anything. So, I remind myself of the saying “you can sleep when you are dead” and then get on with it. Life is short, and I am making memories!
I hope you all have a blessed day and thank you for reading! xx

Unfortunately, to me anyway, camouflague represents hunting and guns and death. Not something I would wear or want to see in this age of mass shootings!

I don’t think I have ever commented on another post before, but that is a head shaker. This is fashion, not faux politics. If seeing camo reminds you of guns and violence, then shall we also make the logical leap that you do not wear red because it reminds you of bloodshed? Keep site politic-free, please

I wear camo all the time and animal prints too—neutral colors to me. Of course, not as well as you do CW! Love your style and attitude and looking forward to NYC reveal re fashions you and Heather saw there. Safe travels over the next days!!! Thx.

You look fabulous Cathy. I wish I could wear camo but they are not the right colours for me. If they could come up with camo in winter colours, I would be right onto it! But, you look really great in this.

Thank you for sharing your opinion – agree with your post (which is not political). If we like the look we buy the item, if we don’t like it we don’t buy it. Simple.
