FAVORITE LEATHER JEANS

Good Morning, sweet friends! My apologies for being a blogger drop-out for the last few weeks. When I travel, I can’t seem to get it together. I want to be in the moment with whoever I am with.  This was the case these last couple of trips. We were in Nashville this past weekend for the wedding of our good friend’s daughter, and we stayed with some other good friends. I always feel rude trying to work or post while I am spending time with friends or family that I don’t get to see often; therefore, the blog and posting go out the window. Anyway, today, I am showing my favorite pair of leather jeans that have me craving the cooler temperatures in a big way!

Leather is a big trend for fall

First of all, are we ever going to see fall? It was 99 degrees in Nashville this past weekend (record high), and it seems like everyone is dealing with continuous heat. I want to wear these leather jeans stat! Leather is such a big trend right now, and leather jeans are always a favorite of mine come fall and winter. Not only do they look chic, but they help keep me warm too. I have owned leather leggings but bought my first pair of black leather jeans two years ago and have worn them to death. I love a cropped boot cut jean and was so happy that Frame came out with this gorgeous pair in leather (also an identical pair that is coated). They fit great, but I did go down a size in them.

Vegan Leather can look just as good as the real deal

Leather pieces can be expensive, but they do last forever. There are, however, a lot of vegan leather pieces that look just as good as the real deal. One brand that I have bought from is Nanushka. The quality is impressive and so is the price point. Blank NYC is another brand that does an excellent job with faux leather. If you are going to try a pair of leather (or faux) pants, why not try them in a caramel color? A cropped pair of denim, leather or not, needs to be worn with a higher bootie, wedge, or pump for the best look, in my opinion.

I hope you all had a great weekend! The Chic at Every Age girls are meeting today to work on a collaboration we are doing. Other than that, I need to get my life together! I have felt a little overwhelmed lately because I feel like I never have enough time to do anything well. Tomorrow, I am working with a sweet girl who has agreed to help assist me with my blog stuff. I am excited because I know I need help, and I am finally ready to receive it.
