THANKSGIVING DAY LOOK
Hello, friends! I hope you had a great weekend and that your week has started in a good way. I am pooped! In fact, I had so much fun this past weekend with two of my girlfriends who were in town visiting. We shopped non-stop and drank a lot of vino. I think we needed to blow off steam! Did you all feel like last week was just too much stress? I am one of those people that takes EVERYTHING on that I am passionate about!
THANKSGIVING DAY LOOK
Honestly, talking about clothes is a lot more fun than what is going on in the world (not trying to diminish, just trying to make light!). Since Thanksgiving is in a few weeks, I thought I would show a few outfits in the next week to be great contenders for the holiday. This cardigan is the cardigan of my dreams! Backstory here…I saw this cardigan from Kobi Halperin on another blogger about two years ago (believe it was in grey). I tried to locate it after seeing hers. But it was not available. I looked again last year at this same time, and no go again.
About a month ago, I googled Kobi Halperin cardigan with fur pockets and low and behold; he did it again this year. Do you know when you can’t get something out of your mind, and you keep searching? This is definitely one of those pieces, and I couldn’t be more excited to have it.
I think this outfit is a great Thanksgiving day look.
I paired a silk tank underneath the sweater with jeans and a bootie. On second thought, maybe I should wear it with elastic waist pants for Thanksgiving (just kidding!). The sweater is on the pricier side, but I have linked other camel color cardigans below. I think you can get the same look with a simple, longer cardigan without the fur. I added the vintage Chanel bag that I got on Heritage Auctions for $600, but another great place to look is Fashionphile.
I am trying to play catch-up this morning and then shoot for the blog later on today. This week is jam-packed, but I started working out again (last week) at The Exercise Coach, and boy, am I out of shape. I stopped when quarantine happened and am just now going back. I have felt like a blob lately and am tired of feeling that way. Plus, I’ve started getting the “old lady” pooch, and I DO NOT like it! Hoping my muscles will remember all of that hard work I did before Covid.
Have a great day, and stay well! xx
