Hi, everyone! How are you all doing? I had such a busy but fun weekend. We checked into the Marriott in Uptown on Thursday for a collaboration I am doing with the company. We have had a Marriott Bonvoy membership for a long time, so it was so fun to work with them. I had no idea that they have thirty hotel brands and over 7,500 properties in one hundred and thirty-one countries worldwide. Anyway, my husband and I got to play tourist in our own city, which was so fun. We also got a lot of time to relax! The rest of the weekend was filled with out-of-town family and a family birthday dinner. This morning, I am headed to Florida for a quick girl’s trip with my favorite Birmingham, Alabama girls.

GETTING READY FOR THE FOURTH OF JULY AND A NORDSTROM GIVEAWAY

I can’t believe that the Fourth of July is next weekend. We have been out of town for the Fourth of July for the last five or so years. Also, we will be spending the Fourth here in Dallas. We have a lot of family things going on and decided to stay put. I usually like to wear something patriotic or at least something blue (because red isn’t my color) on the Fourth. Since we are staying home and having our family over for dinner, I want to make it festive. I have been looking at a few red, white, and blue items and thought I would share a few with you. I am ordering the welcome mat and pool float ASAP!
