FLARES

Hi Everyone! I am still in Dallas, waiting for my dad to recover from surgery last week. He is in a Rehab Hospital working to get his strength back. I am cracking the whip! I am so excited to share a photo shoot I did when I was in New York for Fashion Week a couple of weeks back. You may recognize two of the girls with me from the Chic At Every Age post we do, Sam, of Style of Sam and Heather, of Style by Fluent. The other little blondie blogger is Erin of Busbee Style. Erin is from San Antonio, and it was my first time to meet her in person. She is adorable, and has a great blog and youtube.

We hired the talented photographer, Lydia Hudgens, to take some photos of us at Lincoln Center. We all showed up in flare jeans (I promise we didn’t plan it), and it could not have worked out better! Mine are a little long, because the pair I was going to wear were left in Dallas, along with EVERYTHING else I planned to bring. I went to NYFW on the tails of keeping my grandchildren in Dallas (for a week), and having to pack for that and Fashion Week, my brain forgot how to work. I joked the whole trip, that I was a “blogger dropout”. Anyway, thankfully Heather came prepared for both of us, and let me borrow hers.

I absolutely love the way the others styled their look. Sam pieced together that all black outfit, and it flowed gorgeously as she walked. Heather and I both bought that beautiful dusty at a few days before (and it’s on sale) that she paired with those beautiful burgundy velvet jeans (will be showing my jacket soon).
