Hi, ladies! How was the weekend?
Did you watch the Super Bowl, and if so, was it for the game, commercials, or halftime? Our family gathered at my oldest son’s to watch. Personally, I didn’t care who won and have to say it was the most boring game I’ve ever seen! We all wanted to see a specific commercial from Bumble and Serena Williams. My daughter worked on the commercial and the Bumble team was so excited that this dream came to fruition. Did you see it? If not, here it is. It gives me chills everytime I see it! We had a fun weekend. We took our 97 (soon to be 98)-year-old friend to dinner on Friday night. He is amazing and has THE best stories. I think he has convinced us to go to New Orleans next month to celebrate his and his girlfriend’s birthdays (they are ballroom dancers!)!
Saturday night, we met friends at a new club then had a late dinner. Yesterday, we went to church and heard the first of a series on Marriage (whether you are married or not). It was so good, and I highly recommend it. You can listen here to the sermon. The weather has been so much warmer (Texas for you!), and so I wanted to show this cute and different denim jacket in an unexpected color, that is perfect for warmer days.
A Cute and Different Denim Jacket For Warmer Days
I found this Free People denim jacket a few weeks back. I loved the color and the style of the buttons. This jacket is perfect now but can be worn all year long. Can’t you picture it with an all-white outfit or with blue jeans and a white tee? How about worn over a cute dress or skirt? I think I will wear the heck out of this jacket! I wanted to pair it with something a little more unexpected, so that’s why I chose the pink stripe henley and leopard booties. The jacket is right under $100, and comes in three other colors here. I still love my leopard booties but they are sold out, and it is so hard to find a comparable pair. Don’t forget…it’s also really okay to wear white jeans in the winter!
I’m shooting for the blog again this morning and then heading to my third Mona Lisa Touch treatment. If you aren’t sure what I’m talking about, you can find out here. I’m hoping this is the magic number! Not that I won’t have to have one or two more, but that I start to notice a big difference.
I hope you all have a great Monday! Thank you so much for reading!
